1. Surface treatment: Use sanding or sandblasting to clean up old materials, dust, oil and rust on the surface of the parts to be repaired.
2. Glue preparation: press A:B (mass ratio)=4:1 to mix the two components evenly.
3. Sizing: Apply the adjusted coating glue evenly on the surface of the object to be protected to a certain thickness.
4. Curing: It is fully cured in 24h at room temperature or 1h at room temperature + heating to 80℃ and holding for 2h.
5. Instructions for use
Cleaning and preparation: sanding or sandblasting the repaired surface to expose the metal body and make it rough. For greasy dirt, it is recommended to use a metal cleaner to clean it for better results.
Glue mixing: Use a rubber spatula to apply the mixed glue to the repaired surface, scrape and compact, eliminate the gaps and pores in the glue layer, smooth and compact, and shape.
Curing: Curing according to the short curing time at room temperature before running, if you want to achieve faster curing conditions, and appropriately heating.
6. Technical points used
The length of use time and curing time depends on the temperature and the amount of glue: high temperature and large amount of glue will shorten the pot life; otherwise, the pot life will be prolonged. It is not recommended to use if it is below 5°C. When the temperature is lower than 10℃, the repaired surface needs to be preheated until it is gentle to the touch before applying glue, and the repaired surface should be kept warm during the curing period; when the temperature is high, to prevent the curing from being too fast, the amount of glue can be reduced or the A/B component can be cooled. After the initial curing, heat the repaired surface at 50-150°C to get better curing and bonding performance.
